Calacatta Gold Vein Marble Kitchen
|
Top at the window is bookmatched and miter fabricated
to look 3" thick
|
In this kitchen overlooking the inner harbor in historic Federal Hill area of Baltimore we installed Calacatta Gold Vein
marble with a honed finish and sealed with our proprietary marble protecting sealer to keep out wine and lemon stains.
The window area has 3cm marble miter fabricated to look 3" thick. The veins are carefully roll matched so when
you see the top it look just like thick stock. At the end of the L shape the marble top is miter fabricated to an end
panel that continues to the floor giving the top a very solid look and feel. The splashes are gauged to 3/4" thick
on the painted walls and appear to stick out of the tile 3/4" on the tile wall so the splashes are refined and balanced.
